Our history

The Chartreuse A Cahuzac was constructed by a marquis in 1733 who, allegedly, didn't want to live in the draughty castle at Larressingle. Rumour has it that he did build a secret tunnel between the two properties, albeit this is yet to be discovered. In 1782 a chai was added and armagnac production began, giving the estate its "chateau" title.

Holiday rentals

The fully furnished property is available to rent on an exclusive basis with 4 double bedrooms, a swimming pool and six acres of private grounds.

Minimum rental period is a week and we unfortunately cannot accept pets of any sort

Our vision

We bought the chateau in 2022 and have carried out extensive renovations in that time to create an idyllic place to stay.

Over future years we hope to continue to revive the property adding more bedrooms and additional facilities
